I have created a new profile but the problem persists with It looks like the system is not properly remembering or accessing these security settings, and I suspect certain faulty admin or profile settings that have been migrated from Win 7 Home Edition. By going through the security settings and saving them, the problem goes away until the next reboot. However, after closing and reopening Properties, it reappears (probably by one or more files in this directoryīeing protected).
I also note the read only box is filled and removing this, the change appears to be made.
Although security settings for the TEMP folder appear correct, with ownership assigned to my admin login and theĮnvironment variable set correctly, the error still occurs. I have been through all the suggestions, but the problem keeps popping up. Well, I have a similar problem to other similar ones posted here.
